Biography/history |
Campaigner for a number of causes in W.A. including women's rights (she co-founded the Australian Federation of Women Voters in 1921), Aboriginal welfare, public and mental health, conservation and the environment. Her last battles were to prevent a swimming pool being built in Kings Park and to prevent further reclamation of the Swan River. |
