Biography/history The Bussell brothers arrived in W.A. on board the "Warrior" in 1830 and were pioneer settlers at Augusta, and later Vasse. Alfred Pickmore Bussell (1816-1882) moved to Margaret River on his marriage in 1850, establishing "Ellensbrook" and "Wallcliffe".

Provenance ACC 10435A Donor received the transcripts of Bussell family correspondence from her husband Alfred King Atkins, a descendant of Alfred Pickmore Bussell, brother of Frances Louisa Bussell, the sixth son of Rev. William Marchant Bussell and Frances Louisa Bussell (1782-1845).
